In-Pantry Volunteers

Volunteers help welcome neighbors, sort, date-check, rack food, and clean the SOP! We could not assist many of our Spartan neighbors without our incredible volunteers. Please see our sign-up for more information.

New volunteer slots may open throughout the course of the semester.

*All volunteers must be fully vaccinated to protect our patrons. 

Garden Volunteers

Garden volunteers maintain the garden behind the Smith Center, which grows food for the Spartan Open Pantry. Tasks include weeding, soil preparation, planting, harvesting, and vegetable processing.

Community Meal Volunteers

Community Meal Volunteers help feed hungry Spartans at our weekly community meals on Mondays and Thursdays. Tasks include assisting with food preparation, packaging leftovers, and clean-up after the meal.
