We think that social justice and ministry cannot be separated.  We choose to live that out by integrating 3 food assistance programs into our campus ministry programing and leadership training:

  1. The Spartan Open Pantry:  Serving hungry and homeless UNCG students/faculty/staff.
  2. Minerva’s Garden and Spartan Garden:  Providing fresh and healthy food to SOP users.
  3. Greensboro C.A.R.E.:  An after school program for K-8th grade students providing tutoring services and a hot meal once a week.

All 3 of these programs are run by Wesley-Luther students.  As we have grown into a ministry with more than 300 participants each year we believe we can do more.  This page shows more volunteering opportunities that we participate in to help the greater Greensboro area and other organizations.  If you know of a volunteering opportunity that you would like added on this page please let us know.
