Welcome, New WeLu Friends!

We are so excited to see all of you, new and old, at events this year.

Sponsored and supported by the Methodist and Lutheran churches, Wesley-Luther is an open, inclusive, and progressive campus ministry that welcomes all. Our mission is to provide a loving, accepting Christian environment on the UNCG campus where students and others can find ways to expand their faith and be of service. 

Like in the past, we in the leadership team will be planning events offering opportunities for worship, retreat, study, fellowship, and service in the upcoming school year. Over the years these have come in many different forms, from Sunday Night Live (our Sunday night service at College Place UMC) to Game Nights (which were held over zoom during the Pandemic) to even more unique WeLu events like Queer-aoke. We hope that you will join us for events like these as a member of the community.

 In addition to our events, Wesley-Luther is committed to ongoing anti-racist work, economic and food justice, the affirmation of all gender identities and orientations, the disruption of systems of oppression, and the elimination of discriminatory practices in our denominations and societies. We are LGBTQ+ affirming, and our student leaders complete UNCG’s SafeZone training.
