Wesley-Luther is proud to have been selected as a funding site for the 2015 Lilly Endowment Vocation Grant and the Young Clergy Initiative Grant from the General Board of Higher Education to assist with the creation a new emerging internship experience for young adults interested in professional ministry and its intersection with community need and hunger.
Becoming the Hands and Feet of Jesus, will provide 16 students opportunities to work directly with local Lutheran and Methodist churches fighting hunger and poverty, while exploring ministry through meetings, scripture studies, vocation groups, service, and scholarships to attend exploration conferences nationwide. Students will experience direct leadership and service in their immediate community while discovering and exploring the life of ordained/professional ministry.

The student can expect to commit at least 7 weekly hours to the completion of Internship tasks and meetings during the semester.
